Grand Pacific Health Centre - Nowra is an accredited teaching practice for the University of Wollongong and is committed to training the doctors of tomorrow.
Students from the University are attached to the practice during the academic year are due to start in July 2016.
The students will sit in with the doctors in the surgery as a very valuable part of undergraduate training.
As a patient, you will be informed beforehand if there is a medical student present. If you do not wish a student to be present during your consultation, please advise your GP and you will see the GP alone. Your cooperation in this important area is much appreciated by students and doctors alike.
Dr Richard Griffiths is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Wollongong and will supervise the students during their placement. However, all members of the practice team enjoy the stimulation of training and are committed to providing a high quality educational attachment in a friendly working environment.
