Dr Richard Griffiths has joined the team at Grand Pacific Health Centre – Nowra all the way from his homeland in Wales.
Dr Griffiths is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Wollongong, GP trainer, Medical Educator and RACGP OSCE examiner.
Furthermore, he has extensive knowledge in teaching both medical students and registrars and hopes to develop the Centre's teaching role further with the links to the University of Wollongong.
Dr Mark Burgess returns to Nowra where he has previously worked in the public hospital and in general practice.
He has a young family and has lived most of his life in the Illawarra, completing his medical degree at the University of Wollongong.
He is interested in all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in dermatology and children's health.
Dr Mitchell has completed a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Medical Science. She has attended multiple training workshops in paediatrics, emergency medicine and mental health, and is currently completing the Diploma of Child Health and Emergency Medicine Certificate.
Dr Mitchell has a special interest in paediatric medicine and women’s health.
Dr Ian Wilson has joined Grand Pacific Health Centre - Nowra as a part-time GP. He has a long history in general practice including armed services, rural and urban practice.
For the past few years he has been involved in establishing medical schools in the Universities of Western Sydney and Wollongong and has also run a GP training organisation.
He has special interests in mental health (depression and anxiety), dermatology and minor surgery.
It is with great pleasure we welcome to the practice Dr Muruga Balaji Kandasamy Mohan affectionately known as Dr Balaji.
Dr Balaji joined us from Sydney. He has over 20 years of experience in general practice, emergency medicine and intensive care medicine. He has an interest in all aspects of general practice in particular paediatrics.
Dr Claire Prentice completed her Medical degree in 2009 at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. Her special interest areas are women and children's health, sexual heath, mental health and Indigenous Health.
Dr Jane Elliott will be joining Grand Pacific Health Centre – Nowra in February 2017 as our new registrar. Jane joins us from Bathurst. She will be relocating to Nowra with her family.
Jane is looking forward to putting down roots in the local area and enjoying the beautiful beaches and countryside.
