More than half of all Australians are not active enough. In fact, the Australian Health Survey 2011-12 indicates that 60 per cent of Australian adults did less than the recommended 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity per day.
Exercise Right Week (25 - 30 May) encourages all Australians to take up some form of physical activity, and to seek the advice of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists are trained health professionals who specialise in the prevention and treatment of chronic conditions, as well as supporting individuals who want to achieve or maintain a healthy lifestyle.
